Menthol Crystals are obtained by freezing distilled peppermint oil which causes the oil to freeze into crystals.
Menthol is well known for its anti-fungal and anti-bacteria properties. Because of its characteristic aroma, and its cooling effect, Menthol Crystals are used in perfumes, cosmetics, analgesic balms, lotions, creams, shampoos and conditioners. Menthol Crystals are a great addition to foot care products such as scrubs, creams and lotions.

Menthol Crystals dissolve easily into alcohol or essential oils, and they can be dissolved into water or oil at their melting point of 111.2ºF.
Recommended usage level is 0.5 - 8 %. Due to their strong aroma, a little goes a long way!
